There are 50 Fulbright Commissions around the world that participate in administering the Fulbright Program abroad. U.S. Department of Education and International Education Programs
The U.S. Department of Education’s Office of Postsecondary Education administers the overseas International Education and Foreign Language Studies program authorized by section 102 (b) (6) of the Fulbright-Hays Act. The program differs from other Fulbright-Hays activities in that its objectives are research and training with no provision for lecturing assignments overseas and no direct exchanges.
